All Love

I want him to have it all. I want him to have exactly what he wants. How is there any other definition of love?

How can we call it love to say "you must assuage my fears, fix my experience, answer MY prayers?"

It is love to say I've thought fondly of you while we've been apart.

It's love to say I was ready for you by displaying a clean home, receiving you with a loving gaze.

It is love to offer loving acts of consideration and care

and never repair

because the maintenance is so good

the play is so thorough

the intimacy so welcoming of whatever arises

the rupture doesn't occur.
