Beginning Whole
“Not a Process of Addition”
You are whole.
Your village is whole.
This is the teaching that will allow your village to grow organically, through splitting.
A body directing valuable resources to nonproductive cells has cancer.
A person directing valuable resources to nonproductive relationship is in a cancerous practice.
If your village has not grown, you probably have a practice of directing your valuable resources toward nonproductive relationship.
Now, far too many people want to make this about people.
This is not about how valuable any PERSON is.
All people are equally valuable, having an equally essential experience.
Nonproductive relationship may be a relationship with a person whose values do not align with yours. This is not about their value as a person, this is about the value of the relationship you are expending your resources in order to maintain in your life.
Nonproductive relationship may also be a practice of offering energy in relationship in unsustainable ways, investing in the void of relationship rather than the substance, harvesting from relationship, sacrificing to relationship, or any practice of relationship which degrades you as a component or your experience of your life in any way.
Again, this is not about the value of a person. If you want to play tennis at a high level, you need a counterpart who plays at a high level. Tennis is not objectively important, it's important to YOU.
