In her bubbling youthful excitement, she cut in front of me in line.
That's how her dad obviously saw it, but we were all there to make up our minds.
She decided on the treat with more chocolate, and I decided on my sandwich.
Her dad told her it wasn't her turn yet, she had to wait for me.
LOL. Come on, sir, do you not understand how magic works?
I paid for my sandwich and her treat, she took it and smiled at me, her dad still trying to insist that she acknowledge I bought it for her, that she thank me, but we knew better.
That was her treat, she came in to get it, right when she was ready for it, and that's all she needed to know.
There is DEEP appreciation and magic in taking it for granted.
