Frank
I do not run away.
I stand firm.
I sway like kelp.
I dance in a desirable direction.
In freedom, there's no such direction as "away" because there is nowhere to be, so nowhere to be away from.
I cannot avoid what is mine, how could I possibly avoid what is not mine?
I am not avoiding what is not mine, I am simply present with what is mine.
I am not, cannot be, avoiding what is mine, because it is here with me. This is how I AM holding it. This is what it means to be with it.
You are not running away.
You are running toward the unknown, feeling scared.
Standing firm is on the other side of standing trembling.
You flinch before you are fluid.
You are learning the rhythm, embedding it in your nature.
It's ok if remnants of you are haunted by ideas of what you should do, the right way to be, craving the feelings which are acceptable to be feeling, the ones that show you're hitting the target.
You are present to nurture all parts of you back to reality, and you are doing it. This is what it looks like.
Thriving also sucks sometimes.
