Love Enough
My love, I am sorry for the vastness of your love.
I am sorry for the way your love
is so enormous
that it reflects from every other body
seeming to be available within them.
I am sorry for the way that it has seemed like they could love you, when your own vast love shone, reflected, upon you.
I am sorry for the way that your love was enough for you, for so long, that you didn't even notice they were only showing it, not being it themselves.
I am sorry for the way your love was more than enough, far too much, for only you, for the way that it was enough to keep a whole relationship, a whole family, a whole community alive on its own.
I am sorry for the way that ended, for the truth that it was never sustainable.
And I am not sorry at all.
Because things only fall apart in service to greater integrity.
Love as vast as yours truly IS available for you from others—a beingness that is more than a seemingness.
It is more than enough
and
with all these bodies who can really hold and BE it,
it is never too much.
