I love how you put this. So beautiful.

When I prioritize myself, I tend to stay home a lot, though, working on creative projects, and I don't show up for people in my community the way I would if I could have a handy clone that went to all the things and was a "better" friend/consumer, etc. I'm curious if you have any thoughts about this?

Who you are during and after that creative spell is essential energy to have in the world. Many of us split the world in this subtle way which your question does... there's the world, which I serve, and me, which is a different thing that can go without, or doesn't count as much to serve as it counts to serve other people. You are part of the world. The WHOLE world is not whole without your interests, and you have the greatest influence in the world over your own interests. A lapse in service to yourself is a fundamental lapse in service to the world, when you KNOW you are an essential part of the world.

Hey, Elka! When I read your question, I immediately thought about The Field.

When I de-prioritize myself, that heavy-yucky vibration flows into the field and perpetuates the same.

When I prioritize myself, that vibration flows into the field amplifying generative energy. Creation inspires creation. And prioritizing ourselves provides a model for others.

I’m curious about Hannah’s thoughts on this too.
